New World of Warcraft Max Level Reached Thirteen Hours After Launch
After putting in two years’ worth of hard work on Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard sat back last night with a happy sigh. Thirteen hours later, someone had already hit level 80 (the max in WotLK).
No, really.
I realize it’s a great way to get your name in the papers (virtual or otherwise), but why does this matter to so many people?
Does the “I Hate Content Club” exist and no one told me about it?
The pally that did it, Athene, was already the record-holder of “fastest to 70″ after Burning Crusade came out, proving once and for all that he and his guildies have the most free time.
If you’re fascinated by this (and want to read the story of how he and his guildmates were banned by a GM over the method they used), go here.
Otherwise, go log in and run some quests. That’ll put you ahead of Athene in the “first to see the new content in WotLK” race, which is a much better title to have in my opinion.

I am more than a little ashamed to admit that I’m addicted to the site that (and several other pics of that type on LagORama) came from…ICanHasCheezburger.com, home of the LoL Cats.
That particular one came from here on the site:

I warn you, though…if you’ve never been there, surfing that place is an addiction.

Hey, Hib
Thanks for giving me more reasons to continue the MMO vacation.
Side note, icanhasforce.com is another one of those time sinks.

Coming in amongst all the other games launched recently, EA have quietly released their latest in the Command & Conquer universe - the eagerly-anticipated Red Alert 3.
But alas, all has not run smooth in the land of the Soviets, the Rising Sun and the Allies. It seems that the publishers may need to invest in a new printer.
Numerous reports that a “significant quantity” (read: According to sources I’ve spoken to at several gaming store, in excess of 80%) of Red Alert 3 manuals have been released to customers missing a digit from the 20 character code required to start the game!!
The official solution from the guys behind the scenes at EA - try guessing the last character… “You should eventually get the right combination.”
I suppose we can be grateful that there’s only 36 possible digits to try…

Why do you sound so bitter that (by your own admission) you are having more fun in the game than these people? I liked how you implied the banning was legitimate, as opposed to a mistake on Blizzard’s part which is shown at the page you linked to.

max level in 13 hours lmao thats the one thing i hate about WoW its way to easy to get max level, Runescape is loads better because it takes around 6-8 years to get max level in all skills, plenty of time to keep me occupied
