Don’t Step In The “I Own This!”

Sometimes, as I wander around the MMOBlogosphere, I run across something that makes me want to tell you about them as soon as possible. More frequently, I run across things that make me want to forget I ever saw them. While reading WorldIV earlier today, however, I ran across something that actually made me want to do both.

Ladies, gentlemen and various Wachowski siblings, I give you…WolfQuest!

I tried (OH, how I tried) to come up with a better title for this than the one you see above, but WorldIV had already taken the really good one.You’ll never smell the same about elk again. Truly, a new day in the world of MMORPGs has arrived.(I understand there’s no truth to the rumor that they originally went with a different animal, but “BeaverQuest” was not only already owned by Hustler magazine, but the gameplay involved too much crafting.)

That is definitely the sort of game I would have wanted to play when I was a kid. I loved wolves and consumed as much information as I could about them.

The game looks like it might be just fine…it’s the incredibly bad commercial they did that ruins the effect.

I keep waiting for them to tell me it’s a 99.95 value, but if I subscribe before midnight tonight…
